We Are Hiring!

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Sales Associate to join the Things They Love team. If you are highly dependable, love ethically-sourced toys, and have excellent communication skills, don't hesitate to apply! This is a one day per week, on-site role at our store in Riverside, CA with room for growth.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for opening and closing the store.
  • Assisting customers by answering questions and processing sales.
  • Engaging with everyone in the store, including children, in a friendly and upbeat manner.
  • Monitoring and maintaining suitable storefront inventory levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Resolving or escalating customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Following all store policies and procedures.
  • Additional sales related tasks as needed.

Job Specifics:

  • $16 per hour, plus annual bonus.
  • Shifts are 6-8 hours long.
  • Weekly work schedule is Wednesday (1 day) with the possibility of additional shifts when coworkers are absent.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors' Degree or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly demeanor and good with kids.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb.
  • Available to work on holidays and take on additional shifts during the holiday season (November through January).

    • Passion for children, toys, and early education.
    • Interest in Montessori and Waldorf education theory and methods.
