New Family-Friendly Events at the Things They Love Toy Store!

When the winter weather and rain keep kids from playing outside, it can be difficult to keep them from getting antsy. All that energy needs to go somewhere! That's why we've planned lots of indoor creative crafts, free play, and other family-friendly events at our store in Riverside, CA every week of February.
Join us at the Things They Love shop for some much needed play!
MONDAYS WITH OUR MUFFINS
Start the week on the right foot with delicious muffins made by amazing local bakery Imagined By Misty. Bring the whole family to the Things They Love store from 11am to 12pm on Mondays to enjoy these tasty treats. Meet and chat with other parents while your own "muffins" play in the store!
FRIDAY OPEN PLAY
The end of the week doesn't have to be a slog with Open Play! Join us every Friday from 3pm to 4pm and let your kids use their imaginations in the Things They Love shop. We have plenty of toys that will encourage them to have fun and learn through play!
FACE PAINTING ON SATURDAY FEB 4TH
We're bringing the gorgeous face painting of Mama Mia Face Painting back to the shop! Join us from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday February 4th for some beautiful artwork and free Valentine's Day candy!
CHOCOLATE SLIME SENSORY PLAY ON VALENTINE'S DAY
Making slime is great for busting boredom when you're stuck inside. This recipe only has three ingredients but smells like real hot cocoa! Join us on Tuesday February 14th at 12pm for deliciously fun sensory play.
CELEBRATE OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY ON MAIN ST!
Our shop has been at its location on Main Street for an entire year! We're so excited about this milestone that we've decided to throw a party, so please join us on Saturday February 25th for a family-friendly celebration with a DJ, gift bags, and surprise goodies!
