This time of year can be full of cheer and joy, but it can be stressful too. Whether you're busy preparing for the holidays or coming up with new ways to keep the kids busy while they're home for winter break, taking the time to stop and have fun is crucial.

That's why we've scheduled creative crafts, free play, and more family-friendly events at our store in Riverside, CA every week this month. Join us at Things They Love for some much needed play!

MONDAYS WITH OUR MUFFINS

Start the week on the right foot with delicious muffins made by amazing local bakery Imagined By Misty. Bring the whole family to the Things They Love store from 11am to 12pm on Mondays to enjoy these tasty treats. Meet and chat with other parents while your own "muffins" play in the store!

TUESDAY SENSORY PLAY OR CRAFT

Keep the fun going with our weekly Sensory Play or Craft! Every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 1pm we set up an engaging activity in the loft above the store designed to encourage sensorial learning. In Montessori philosophy, sensory play helps children explore, understand, process, and classify the world around them, making it an important part of their growth and happiness!

FRIDAY OPEN PLAY

The end of the week doesn't have to be a slog with Open Play! Join us every Friday from 3pm to 4pm and let your kids use their imaginations in the Things They Love shop. We have plenty of toys that will encourage them to have fun and learn through play!

SANTA TIME

Santa Claus is coming to Things They Love! Join us for a festive meet-and-greet with Santa in the shop on Saturday December 17th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Children will be able to share their Christmas wish lists and have their pictures taken with Santa - don't miss it!
